What wordling is for
wordling is a small workshop for anything made of letters. Type your letters into the word unscrambler and it hands back every English word you can build from them, sorted by length. The anagram solver picks out the full rearrangements, where every letter gets used exactly once. Stuck on a five-letter guessing puzzle? The wordle solver narrows the field down from the letters you have already ruled in and out. And when you would rather play than solve, the word search game hides eight words in a fresh grid every round. Everything is free, works on a phone as comfortably as on a desktop, and keeps your scores on your own device. wordling.net is the English-language companion to wordling.de.
Common questions
What is the difference between the word unscrambler and the anagram solver?
The word unscrambler shows every word you can build from your letters, shorter ones included: type NIGHTS and you also get THING, SIGN and HIT. The anagram solver keeps only the full rearrangements, where each of your letters is used exactly once. Reach for the unscrambler when you want options, and for the solver when the puzzle demands all the letters.
Are the word tools free to use?
Yes. Every tool and game on wordling is free and open without an account. The word list is downloaded once, and the search then runs on your own device, so you can keep going as long as you like.
Which dictionary do the word tools use?
The English tools run on the ENABLE word list, extended with WordNet nouns and ordered by how often each word actually turns up in everyday English. That is 152,331 words from two to twelve letters, with the common ones first, so the results open with words you would really play.
